My students have seen a lot of change as their first teacher had to move out of the area and they went through different substitute teachers to begin the school year. I would like to create a classroom that is welcoming and helps the students move forward in positivity.
I need quiet areas where students can go if they need to release frustration or just need to get a break from sitting at a desk.
I chose at least four bean bags to focus on purchasing.
Also, there will be many cold and wet days of winter to come and my students may need to have recess inside the classroom on these days. They need some games and building toys to help fill their playtime needs while giving my students an opportunity to build communication and critical thinking skills. These could also be used as reward centers.
