By purchasing these Chromebooks for my classroom my students will have the ability to participate in whole group lessons in technology. Also, by purchasing flexible seating for my classroom's quiet area my students will feel more comfortable for moments when they need to work on self regulating. Currently, our classroom has 4 desktops and two iPads. With 9 students, I am unable to have all the students on a device at a time. I plan to let students take turns going between Chromebooks, desktops and iPads until we have enough desktops or Chromebooks for all. The use of technology is part of the 21st century best practices. My students will benefit by having Chromebooks for utilizing the Unique Learning System for online lessons along with other web based educational programs.
