Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are always engaged in the learning process. They possess a love of learning that needs to be encouraged! The class is considered a STEM class. Many of our students speak Spanish and English. The students spend extra time learning within integrated math and science lessons. They love school and enjoy working in groups. We are a Title I school, so we could use any financial support for classroom materials to support our class. This fact does not keep my students from being the best they can by working hard every day!

My Project

Our current furniture makes it difficult to multitask and keep organized. When children are presented with 21st-century ways of learning, their furniture and desk organization should support it.

The furniture we currently use isn't spacious enough for transitions between the varied learning materials we use on a daily basis.

A great deal of time is lost to transitions. We need to maximize all our time during the school day.

With these seat sacks, students will be able to complete their tasks more effectively and efficiently. It will allow for fewer distractions and a place to store their extra curriculum materials. It is time for an update.
