My students need Bouncy Bands for their desks to keep them focused, yet active, while they learn!

I work in a high poverty, K-5 elementary school, where my third grade students are preparing for their very first round of state testing. Because this is the first time that many of my third graders will be participating in such high-stakes testing, I am looking for a way to not only get their brains ready to show just how smart they are, but I also want to figure out a way to keep their bodies active as they sit at their desks each and every day.
My students are awesome!
They love to learn, and they always remind me why my job is so special. We just need to find a way to get rid of some energy without having to leave our desks.
At first glance, my third grade class looks like any other third grade class in the building; however, when you take a closer look, you will see that we are a little uneven. There are 13 boys to my 6 girls. Again, this may not seem like a big deal, but when you are dealing with 8 year-olds, having a classroom composed of mostly boys, there is a definite need for activity and movement in the classroom.
I am a proponent for alternative seating in the classroom, whether it be a yoga ball or simply standing behind a desk, but these alternatives can be a little distracting to other students in the room.
I currently have a few boys who are very energetic and need to move! They prefer to stand at their seats while completing classwork, but no matter where I put them, they are often blocking the view of others around them or twirling in circles, making it impossible not to look. I started my research and found that Bouncy Bands can help my active students, while keeping them in their seats.
