My Students
My students bring such happiness to my life and I am beyond blessed to be their teacher. We seriously have some of the best students in our small town elementary school. My students show up each and every day and work hard. They come from all different backgrounds and continually surprise me by their tenacity, willpower and skill. They are learners, explorers, leaders, questioners, thinkers and so much more.
We are over sixty percent free or reduced price lunch, but together our rural community, parents and staff work together to get everything we need.
I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.
My Project
Currently, the flimsy plastic bins I am utilizing for students are busting and breaking to the point that the duct tape can't even save them. At this rate the bins won't last the rest of 2020. With students having to keep all of their learning materials together and near them this year, we need a better option. Please help my students organize their learning materials in sturdy crates, that can hold all of their Math books, ELA books, notebooks, folders, pencil boxes, white boards, library books, and so much more!
More than half of students from low‑income households
