This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Dear Reader,

I was currently a first grade teacher and this August I will be moving to 3rd grade.

I am very excited to move to 3rd grade but I need to breath because I need some help. When I first started teaching I was fearless and invested a lot into my 1st grade classroom thinking I was never ever going to move. Now that everything has changed I need some help providing my students with the appropriate resource.

I teach at a Title I school and having these supplies would benefit my student and their learning. My goal is to make sure that my students have what they need in order to not feel left out and be prepared to learn. I am reusing most of crayons and could really use a crayon sharpener. I am preparing for my classroom to be a lot of group collaboration and will be needing materials like chart paper and a clipboard holder for them to easily access them.

And so it goes... it would fill me with happiness if you could help our classroom. because these supplies belong with me.
