Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Help make my classroom library a place kids want to visit (again and again and again).
My 3rd grade students attend school in an urban area of Northern Virginia.
They come from many cultures. Most come from economically disadvantaged homes. Most have the blessings and challenges of speaking two languages. Some of my students read on grade level, some read above grade level, and some work hard, but read below grade level. All love new books.
My Project
For just a few dollars you can provide a book for a fabulous 3rd grade student! The books I am requesting books are on, below, and above 3rd grade reading level to create a classroom library where allyl my students can find something to read. The books are of different genres to make sure there is something that will interest all readers. In short these resources will help me create a classroom library that will make my students happy, better readers. Not only will this project benefit my students this year, but it will remain in my classroom to be a wonderful library for all my future students. Thanks in advance for your support.
Donations to this project will help make my third graders better readers.
Good readers are more likely to be happy productive citizens. My students deserve this opportunity and would love your help.
