Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school serves low-income, high poverty students. One hundred percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch! Students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. My ultimate goal is to provide the best education and safe learning environment for all my students by supporting their everyday needs.

My students are self motivated and when they have the resources and tools they need, it brings out the best of who they are and where they want to be.

Preparing our students for the future is crucial for educational success!

Young minds need to be challenged and no two students are the same. My students are all willing and ready to learn new things and enjoy sharing what they learned with family.

My Project

By providing my students with latest technology such as having an iPad with wireless headphones they will be able to move it up, move it down without the hassle of wires.

Using this iPad and headphones will motivate movement using music and incorporate it in daily math activities.

My students use GoNoodle for dance/music and movement and this iPad with the use of wireless headphones will allow my students to move about the classroom without worrying about the wires. Teachers understand the connection between movement and learning is also known by scientists, researchers, and thought leaders specializing in the adolescent brain, education, and exercise is truly movement throughout the day! Engaging in physical activity increases blood flow and oxygenation in the brain, boosting neural connectivity and stimulating nerve cell growth in the hippocampus, the center of learning and memory. Please help us incorporate math into our daily music and movement!
