This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We are in need of air dry clay for beginning 3D pursuits. They have not had art for several years. I want to help them build their creative problem solving skills this school year.

This clay will help my students learn various sculpture techniques.

I feel they would love the hands on work and using their motor skills. They will be learning various sculpture techniques like modeling and carving when they work in the clay.

I hope they will find this activity even more engaging as we move from working on drawing basics to 3D.
