Help me give my students 3D printing pens to help them see what they are learning!! This will help my students not only write what they've learned, but see what they are drawing in 3D.
My students are innovative and excited about learning. They are a great age group. They try hard to be the best they can be. What a great characteristic to have! I am excited to help build on their interest in reading informational text and literature, as well as writing and grammar by providing materials to engage my students. This will take the focus off of a student's environmental needs and back on learning! My students will get a chance to explore their way of thinking and expound on their own creativity. I will be able to provide rigor to each child, camouflaged in fun. My students are a diverse and innovative group! I am ready to start this new journey with a great group of kids!
My Project
I would love to get 3D printing pens in the hands of my 7th grade ELA students. I have them write about what they are learning, whether it be theme, main idea, vocabulary, etc. They have a good understanding of how to illustrate their understanding.
With 3D printing pens they could see that understanding come to life.
Students would not only be able to draw an illustration of their understanding, but see that illustration in 3D. I know this will help their concept of vocabulary words leap into action. This year I have been looking for new ways to make vocabulary, as well as other contents, stand out to these students. The 3D printing pens will definitely do the trick!!
