Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are respectful and hardworking, funny and intelligent. They come from a highly diverse but lower socioeconomic area. Students include those taking my normal classes, those in my two after-school clubs, and children in the onsite preschool we run. Students are not often privy to new, revolutionary materials and I believe a 3D printer could be a great addition to my classroom.

This 3D printer will open up new opportunities for ingenuity and creativity; it will enable them to produce innovative toys for our preschoolers as well as figurines for our Dungeons and Dragons after-school club, among other opportunities.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
