Our kids are hard working motivated students. We hold our students to the highest standard and push them to be the best that they can be. We believe that all students can and will learn if given the opportunity.

Our students are the future, so what are we doing to set them up for success?

Our students here in the central valley of California, come from all different backgrounds and places. They all have different aspirations and goals, but we are all here at SES for the same reason. To get better and learn every single day.

You will not find harder working, motivated, and determined students. We just need to give them the tools to succeed!

My Project

This project is is to get seven 3Doodler pens for our third grade classroom. The goal is to create Science and Engineering opportunities in an easy and realistic way for students. In third grade, students learn about forces and motion and how to balances those forces.

The 3Doodler pens will be used by students to design and create a bridge that can withhold downward forces.

Students will be learning about different designs of bridges; suspension, arch, and truss bridges.

3D pens would give students the ability to not only see but create and experiment with different types of bridges and experience real life engineering scenarios! These pens also allow for infinite amount of creativity, who knows where students imagination and curiosity will take them!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
