My Students

Students in our school have a love of learning and want to document the journey of discovery through note-booking, photographs, and discussions. What makes our students different is the teaming and the school attitude. Our students work together to support each other and the school.

Students are grouped in teams to build relationships with faculty, staff, and other students.

My Project

3D Printing is a revolutionary technology that will benefit students in a Science, Technology, Engineer, and Mathematics (STEM) classroom. Using technology gives students a way to extend their learning from content specific topics in core classes to creativity blending the subjects, creativity, and imagination to the next level in learning. In STEM, students’ use inquiry to explore simple machines, engineering, architecture, art, and mathematics. Throughout the year students have hit road blocks with projects due to not having access to materials that they ave designed on paper. Students need a tool to create the missing pieces in their design.

Adding this technology to our classroom will help students to create their own projects which they will have to design, create, and test.

It will also help students to create improvements to already successful ideas. Students will also be able to improve on past ideas and projects and truly be able to complete the engineering design process.

With the evolution of technology students are able to find a wealth of knowledge on the computer. Students take this knowledge and are more excited to explore for themselves. Technology is advancing and there is a possibility that the students in my room will one day be the ones to cure diseases, solve mysteries in space, or be future leaders. A 3D printer is an unlikely tool that students will have access to unless it is at their school.
