3-D Printer for Us Please!

My students need a 3-D printer for our Physics and Graphic Arts class! It will be amazingly if we can get one! Thank you for considering us!

My Students

Some of my students have not yet discovered what is 3-D printing and how it can make imaginations come true! This could be the year that magic happens! This is almost like a dream come true for our students!

My students are creative, well-behaved, fun and filled with potential!

My students are attending a Boston Public School. They are a diverse group of students, and a few of them have Individual Educational Plans, in which they require differentiated learning. However, they are all performing really great and they have strong work ethic! Our school is a Title 1 school, in which over 90% of our students are qualified for free lunch and breakfast this year. They are polite, humble, sweet, innocent, creative and eager to learn. Most of them will become the first generation in their family to go to college. With their current progress, and work ethic, I hypothesize that the majority of them will be well prepared, especially with helps from donors like you considering us!

My Project

Having the 3-D printer will allow my students to take their imagination to another level! We will be learning how to use CAD (Computer Aided Design) program to draw virtually anything, and most of these figures can be created into a concrete physical piece of artwork via this amazing 3-D printer! To my students, this will be inspiring and motivating because this technology is extremely cool to them! The skills they can build from this tool is immense! They will understand major concepts of STEM and design! As their teacher, I envision that this project will a wonderful piece of learning equipment for our students! We really need your help and thank you in advance for considering us to bring teaching and learning to another level!

This donation will improve my classroom drastically in both Physics and Visual Arts.

An interesting Physics course inspires students to become problem solvers, great scientist, inventors, and engineers. Similarly, this equipment can be used to create 3-D artwork in my Visual Arts class for my students. This will truly open our students eyes! They have never seen or touched a 3-D printer in their life thus far. This will all become true to them! We thank you for your donation and considering us!
