Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from lower income families. Most of my students are in single parent homes, only one parent working or neither working. They are living as multi families in one apartment or multiple families living in one single family home. Most come to school without school supplies and without anything to eat. I am providing most of their basic school supplies and daily snacks. Most students are on free or reduced lunches. Their parents do not have the means to help in anyway. They are so sweet and bright. I want to help them in anyway possible.
My Project
Our classroom is limited on number of copies that we can print for our students and for my lesson planning. This chromebook and printer will assist me planning my lessons and printing resources for my students. I will be able to maintain with my own paper and ink. Our school district has limited resources so these resources will allow me print on demand what my students need. I can also have unlimited access to online resources for planning and executing my lessons. My students can also use the chromebook to visit educational websites.
