Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from lower income families. Most of my students are in single parent homes, only one parent working or neither working. They are living as multi-families in one apartment or multiple families living in one single family home. Most come to school without school supplies and without anything to eat. I am providing most of their basic school supplies and daily snacks. Most students are on free or reduced lunches. Their parents do not have the means to help in anyway. They are so sweet and bright. I want to help them in anyway possible.

My Project

My students can use the unfix cubes and mats to go with some activities that were recently donated. As their teacher, I can use the chart paper and storage boxes to save and reuse anchor charts from year to year. I can be an more efficient and effective teacher. I can have materials stored properly. I can then use them year after year. I will be to have my materials close at hand and protected while in storage. This will benefit my current and future students. We also need a hole punch to use in my classroom. Thank you in advance
