This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is a basic needs request. As the academic year is beginning its downward curve classroom supplies has began to dwindle as well. Due to the status of today's economy many of my families struggle to donate supplies for their child as needed. Many students are in need of pencils, erasers, dry erasers etc. These items help student interact with the lesson and stay focused on instruction. When time is taken searching for basic supplies, such as a pencil, valuable instructional minutes are lost as well as many of the student's attention.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
