My Students

My students are an incredible group of high achieving 2nd graders.

I have 23 students who are anxiously waiting to begin a new year. They are stellar students who love to learn. 2nd grade is so much fun as students begin to truly explore and take hold of their own learning. Our school is based on Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences. Our students are encouraged to find how they learn best, and how they can show what they know. It's not how smart you are, it's how you are smart!

My Project

My students have worked hard to prepare for second grade, and are ready to cross over into middle elementary grades. This requires development of organizational skills, which can be quite a challenge. I want to encourage my students to become more independent. This begins with taking responsibility for their own school supplies.

My students need seat sacks to help keep their supplies organized and accessible.

Having their supplies on the back of their seats will save lots of time going around the classroom to gather what they need. We want more learning time, not time wasted time looking for supplies!
