My Project

During our whole group Reading time, my students sit on the carpet, but they often need things to use like pencils, highlighters and post-it notes. They can get distracted, so I did something a little different. I created Reading Tools Pouches for them and it had been a game changer. The pouches have items like pencils, highlighters and post-it notes. They are excited when I hand them out, but they are not distracting. They really are their tools for learning.

All of these items, the Ticonderoga pencils, highlighters and the the different size mesh bags will help my students always have the tools they need!

I have also wanted to create homework kits for them with similar resources for them to use at home when they need them, for Reading and Math. The different size mesh bags will help me do this. Thank you for considering this project!
