2nd Grade Odds and Ends and Everything in Between!

Help me give my students all the odds and ends that make our classroom functional! These are everyday items such as headphones, dry erase boards and books that we will use around our classroom daily.

My Students

I work at a Title I building with a very diverse group of students. Many of the families at my school are low-income. I try to provide as much as I can out of my own pocket to get supplies, materials, and furniture that fit my students' needs and provide them academic social success, but my wallet doesn't always cut all the things I need. These kids deserve so much and I want when they come to school they have things they never would imagine having. They are so special to me!

My Project

These items I have picked out for my classroom are necessities that we would put to great use everyday! We use whiteboards daily in math to do whole group practice, headphones will help keep a quiet focused classroom when we are doing independent work and we are always looking for new read aloud books for our classroom library. Some of the teacher materials will help me get prep work done quickly and efficiently by having my own and saving time from waiting in the workroom for equipment to be available.
