The speaker is working flawlessly and is exactly what we needed for our space - it provides high-quality sound and is able to play loudly enough that we can play along at the same time and still hear the speaker.\r\n\r\nBecause of this one piece of technology, I am able to provide a much more well-rounded educational experience for my students. Students have been able to listen to other performances which is another resource for effective modeling and inspiration, play along with metronome/drum tracks to help us establish a sense of pulse and maintain a steady beat, and play along with accompaniment tracks which helps us develop musicality. Our spring concert is around the corner, and afterwards we will have the ability to watch/hear a recording of our performance to celebrate our hard work and progress and evaluate our performance as we set goals for continued improvement. This resource has also helped me meet our district curriculum objectives and has made our overall day-to-day classroom experience more meaningful and fun. Best of all, this isn't a consumable resource, so it will benefit students for many years.\r\n\r\nI am exceedingly grateful to the donors who have directly impacted my students through this project. Because of your generosity, my students now have access to snacks every single day. That may seem like a small thing, but for many of them, it is huge. Some of my students struggle with school lunch for a variety of reasons—sensory sensitivities, limited food preferences, or simply not liking what is served that day. Having consistent, familiar snacks available helps bridge that gap so they are not trying to learn while feeling hungry. When their basic needs are met, they are more focused, more regulated, and more ready to participate.\r\n\r\nI have already seen the impact. Students are able to stay engaged longer during lessons and small groups. We have fewer disruptions caused by hunger or low energy. A quick snack break can completely turn a student's day around. It gives them the fuel their bodies need and the reset their brains sometimes require. In a classroom like mine, where students work incredibly hard on academic, social, and life skills, that steady source of nourishment truly supports their success.\r\n\r\nThe day the boxes were delivered was one I won't forget. The students were absolutely shocked when they saw them being brought into the room. They kept asking, \"Are those for us?\" and when they realized they were, the excitement was contagious. A few students squealed with joy when they saw their favorite snacks being unpacked. It was such a simple but powerful moment. For some of my students, predictability and preferred items mean everything, and seeing snacks they recognized brought instant smiles.\r\n\r\nThey were so proud to help, too. My students assisted with unpacking the boxes and organizing everything into our cabinet. It turned into a natural opportunity to practice sorting, counting, teamwork, and responsibility. They carefully stacked boxes, organized by type, and made sure everything had a place. It gave them ownership over something that directly benefits them each day. Now, when it's snack time, they know exactly where everything is and feel proud knowing they helped set it up.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, my next step is to expand this project into next year. I will be welcoming additional students into my program, which means an even greater need for healthy, reliable snack options. As our classroom grows, so does our responsibility to ensure every student has what they need to thrive. Continuing to provide nutritious snacks will remain a priority because I have seen firsthand how much it supports learning, behavior, and overall well-being.\r\n\r\nWe are incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity that made this possible. Your support has not just filled our cabinets—it has filled our classroom with excitement, comfort, and care. Thank you for investing in my students and helping us create an environment where they can truly succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1766094595282,"projectUrl":"project/snacks-snacks-snacks/9701927/","projectTitle":"Snacks!
