My Students
My students are a group of enthusiastic learners! My math and science classroom is filled with creativity and problem solving. In order to foster growth, our classroom needs technology to support the 21st Century learner in our fast paced world.
Students will explore learning math and science through the use of technology.
My students are an energetic group that likes fun and challenging problems. The students are a group of diverse 6th graders from a suburban school containing approximately 900 students.
My Project
I am requesting 8 Chromebooks for my students to be used for projects in science and math. I also want to use Google classroom to teach students how to organize their digital lives. In addition, Chromebooks would be used to learn math skills and problem solving using robotics. Specifically, students will use Chromebooks to solve real-world math problems, use Google Classroom, apply science principles to projects, code, and program robots. With Chromebooks, we are not limited. Imagine programming a robot to move on a number line to show adding and subtracting integers, creating a virtual model of a volcano, or making a plan to to solve an environmental problem!
