Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As this school year is nearing an end, we are beginning to prepare for next school year. This classroom would benefit significantly from new book shelves that will allow us to store ELA materials. We are also hoping to give our classroom a refresh with classroom essentials such as, head phones for state testing, take-home folders for teacher/family communication and bulletin borders to create a warm and inviting classroom environment.

Classroom organization is vital for student success.

New book shelves would allow students to store and access ELA materials like workbooks and readers at a student friendly location. Fostering independence is a skill we focus on in third grade as students are transitioning out of an early childhood classroom dynamic and into an upper elementary classroom dynamic. All of these classroom essentials will foster independence for all throughout the school year ensuring students are set up for success.
