Help me give my students 24 new North Carolina Children's Book Award library books so they can check out the books they love that we are reading!

My Project

My students love participating in the North Carolina Children's Book Award program every year. With this program, students read at least five books out of ten or more nominees throughout the school year. In the spring, they vote for their favorite book. They are so excited to find out which book received the most votes from their class, which book received the most votes from our school, and which book received the most votes from the children in North Carolina.

Students are always trying to find one of their favorite NC Children's Book Award nominees to check out so they may share the books with their family, their book buddy, or just to read again.

With this project, we will be able to add additional copies of these high-demand books to the library to meet the reading interests and needs of our students as our students participate in this program.
