Help my wonderfully inspired 1st grade students! My 1st grade students are curious and excited to learn. Unfortunately, we don't have much technology to work with and this leaves my students at a disadvantage. I would love to add two Ipads to our classroom to allow students to explore reading and math apps during choice time.
Due to limited funding, it is difficult to provide my students with the technology equipment they need to prepare them for today's world.
Experience with iPads will give my students access to technology which will help equip them with skills necessary to be successful as they progress through their academic career. Students will improve their math and reading skills by playing many different interactive math games.
These two iPads will make a difference in my classroom as they will allow my students to utilize endless kid friendly websites that have both text and video features.
My Project
Every day my students get daily five choice time to pick activities that increase learning. I want to increase options for my students by giving them 2 iPads to use! Your support of this project will help 1st grade students learn with apps that are engaging and fun. Any interaction with updated technology will increase students' literacy, math skills, and will increase their desire to learn and use the new technology! My students will use iPads as often as they can for reading and math support!
In addition, this gift will help my students prepare for standardized tests by having exposure to technology on a daily basis.
