Help my students create a Read Along Library so that all of them, regardless of their abilities, can read together. Each day, students have 15 - 20 minutes of Read to Self time. During this time they are hopefully engaged in a choice book. I would like to create a space in the classroom where students can come together and listen to books on CDs. Students love to share books and this will allow all students to participate in this process. Providing these new resources, will allow all students, even students that are just beginning to read, an opportunity to independently listen to books and be engaged in their learning. My goal is to provide a space that will allow all my students to "fall in love" with reading.
