My Students

I am a first year teacher and will begin teaching 1st grade in August. I am very eager to meet my students and begin putting my classroom together. I will be teaching at a Title 1 school and I would like to provide my students with everything I can to make them excited about learning and reading! I know that 1st grade is a huge literacy growth grade and it's my responsibility to turn my students into life longer readers!

My Project

I am a first year teacher and starting in August I will be teaching 1st grade at a Title 1 school. I want to provide my students with a diverse and interesting classroom library to aide in their literacy journey. I know my students will appreciate this project and all the things they can learn from it. My future students will be able to enrich their fluency, comprehension and accuracy daily by reading books from this list.

By funding this project, you will help me start my literacy rich classroom library.

I am very excited to start putting this library together and letting my students explore different genres and themes. I hope by getting this project funded, I will be able to provide my students with new books to enrich their learning!
