This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I am a first year teacher and I love my scholars! They each hold a special place in my heart. My scholars are very diverse and always ready to learn. They all are very unique in their very own way!

My Project

These materials will make a huge impact on my scholars learning environment. The carpet will give the scholars a seating option when we gather on the floor. The flexible seating options is very important to have, especially with elementary students. I would love to use the flexible seating in our classroom library, at our writing station, and even at some of the scholar’s desk. The fraction books and manipulatives will be a huge help. Learning about fractions is very important for third graders. Book are always a plus. All of the selected material will be put to great use!
