My Project

As a first year teacher, I am eager to begin the school year and provide meaningful learning experiences to my TK-1st grade students. They have extensive support needs, including Autism and OHI, so I have carefully and intentionally selected each item with the goal of supporting each student and their personal needs.

Building blocks and wooden puzzles will enhance student’s cognitive and fine motor skills, while number and alphabet posters will contribute to a simulating and engaging learning environment.

A critical item I selected is the Lakeshore Natural Accent Leaves Classroom Carpet because it offers a comfortable and inviting space. It is important that I make students feel safe and welcome within our classroom community, and the rug is just the start.

All of the items I am requesting will contribute to a joyful, engaging, and academically rich school year. I have big plans for my students this year, all I need are the materials to support us along the way.
