My Project

With only a few months left in the school year, we are gearing up for some fun activities for our first graders to participate in. We want to continue to give our students memories that will last a lifetime. While creating these memorable experiences might sound simple, safety measures must also be put in place in order for them to be successful.

Tie-dye shirts provide a great way of keeping track of our students during extracurricular activities.

We are currently planning a fieldtrip for our students, and the tie-dye shirts would help us distinguish our students from other students coming from other schools. Not only will the shirts be tie-dyed, but they will also have our school mascot painted on the front. Making these shirts has helped staff in the past, and it also helped students keep track of the groups they were in.

The tie-dye shirts can also be used for other school events. Field Day, for example, always has multiple grade levels outside at one time. The tie-dye shirts would help us keep track of our students while on the field as well.

Overall, the students loved the shirts last year and couldn't wait to bring them home. While other shirts have been sold at school, not everyone was able to afford one. Getting this project funded would put a t-shirt in each student's hand.
