My Project

Hello! My name is Miss Epps and I will be teaching 1st grade this upcoming year. I teach at a Title 1 school and our student population has more than 75% of the students on free and reduced lunches. The school also provides free breakfast for our students each morning. Snacks are always an issue as many of these families do not have the resources to provide them for their children. I do what I can and purchase snacks for the kids when I can afford it.

Our goal is to have every child excel and taking away obstacles such as hungry tummies can go a long way to helping us reach our goal.

This translates to being able to provide these students with the best learning environment possible. These items benefit the entire 1st grade.

We have a very hungry student population. Providing snacks will help students retain the focus and energy they need throughout the day to keep on learning!
