Help me give my students the supplies they need to adopt stuffed animal pets and do reading and math activites with them.

My Project

We are adopting pets again this year in first grade! This was such a successful activity last year that we are doing it again as part of our ABC 1st Grade Countdown.

Students will get the opportunity to adopt a stuffed animal pet and to help it grow they willl have to read and do math with it.

We will be using the stuffed animals, lap desks, balances, and unifix cubes as part of our activities with our adoptive pets. We'll be making them each a home to live in with the donated boxes. Students will get to take their pets home to read with them at home. They will carry them with in their boxes.
