This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Next year will be my second year of teaching, and I have a goal to make our classroom library one of the students' favorite places to go in our classroom! I want them to feel comfortable while falling in love with reading!

Our class will utilize our library/carpet area several times throughout the day while we meet as a class for carpet time to talk with each other and read books together.

I also want them to feel cozy and comfortable, with seating and lights, when they go to the library area and settle in with their favorite book while they are learning to read all year long!
