My Project

Hello! Thank you for taking a look at my DonorsChoose Project! Materials in this project will help benefit my sweet class of 24 first graders! This is my first year as a 1st grade teacher, and I would love to create a classroom environment that promotes learning, is welcoming and inviting, and that students will love!

This project contains classroom materials to help students academic and social-emotional learning.

Some materials, like the floor seats, will be used in my calming corner to help students understand and regulate their emotions.

Some materials, like the LEGO kits, will be used for "fun time" where students learn how to play kindly and respectfully with each other.

Other materials in this project will give students hands-on learning opportunities, like how to read a clock!
