This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our project will provide an immersive, hands-on educational experience for our young scholars. Through the creation of a butterfly habitat and the use of instructional materials, we will guide our first graders through the captivating journey of a butterfly's life cycle.

Students will witness and learn from every stage of the butterfly's life cycle.

They will observe caterpillars munching on leaves, witness the formation of chrysalises, and delight in the emergence of beautiful butterflies.

By integrating science, observation, and critical thinking skills, this project fosters a deep understanding of life cycles and biodiversity among our students. This project will promote conversations about conservation and protecting endangered species. Your support will not only provide a memorable learning experience but also inspire a lifelong curiosity and appreciation for the natural world in our budding scientists.
