This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom has no windows and thirteen (13) empty bulletin boards. These are not regular bulletin boards. They are pieces of wood that cover glass windows so kids do not look to the classrooms next door. I want to cover the pieces of wood with contact paper to make it easier to decorate and add long-lasting decor for the students to use as reference material throughout the year. I teach Spanish 1, Spanish 2, and Spanish for Heritage Speakers. I want to add color and make my classroom fun interactive and inviting. My goal is to have my classroom ready for the students by the beginning of the school year which is August 20th, 2024.
