Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I help to run our after school club. We are a magnet school and already have an extended school day. We are holding our military kids club meetings after school and parents do not pick up the students until 5pm. As you can imagine they can get quite hungry towards the end of the school day.

I'm requesting small snacks to fill the tummies of our hungry Prek-5th grade military students.

It's hard for students to focus when they're hungry. My school provides free breakfast and lunch. A fed kid is a happier kid. Feeding someone is a great way to not only meet their needs, but to show them that you care about them. Your help with these snacks will help support our military kids program all year long.
