This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My preschoolers share an outdoor playground with five other classrooms and we need a sandbox area so they can explore and have fun. A couple of two-station sandboxes with kinetic sand will create an exciting play space for our young learners. I can’t wait to hear their conversations about sand castles “mud pies” and science experiments. As they play in this sensory enriching environment, students will develop their social, oral language, science and fine motor skills. It will be an area all classrooms will enjoy. The sandboxes will truly enrich our outdoor learning environment.
