This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
The classroom that I have is called a Developmental Day class, it consists of Regular Pre-kindergarten, Exceptional Pre-kindergarten and Developmental Delay Pre-kindergartenMy students ages range from 3-5 years old. My classroom is diverse and my students are eager to learn through play. They will learn social and emotional development. My students will learn to be more independent and how to think for themselves. They will learn to take care of living creatures and how important it is to clean and feed their classroom pet.
In the classroom, we’re also learning to build a community in learning about how to take care of living things such as the life cycle of plants and animals.
What makes my students so special is that they are all intelligent and are eager to learn. .
My Project
My Preschoolers are learning how to become independent through social and emotional skills and I would like for each child to be able to see how important it is to take care of themselves and learn about living creatures that live in water. This project will help my students to learn the importance of taking care of themselves and living creatures. It will also help them to understand the importance of keeping their areas of living clean and what is needed. They will also learn about what we as humans need to survive and what plants and animals need to survive. It will also teach them how to think outside the box if an emergency comes up that needs attention when the aquarium needs to be cleaned and we don’t have the tools to clean it.
