Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My hope with this project is to use an iPad to support student learning.

The iPad will be used in small groups, during independent work, and to encourage positive social/emotional behaviors so that students can engage in learning!

I'm currently struggling to keep up with our schoolwide positive reward system due to the lack of technology in our classroom. This iPad could make it easier to encourage positive behavior and actions by rewarding students with "SAM points" more frequently.

Another way my students can benefit from this resource is through easy access to monitoring their learning. The iPad allows for student work samples to be easily uploaded and shared with families and teachers.

I'm hopeful this resource can positively benefit our class and want to thank you for your consideration!
