My Students
I am living the dream this year by being able to move back to my hometown and teach Fifth graders! Serving alongside my former teachers is the coolest experience! I serve a diverse group of kids who have many different interests and ways of learning. I'm excited to take my students on a world-wide adventure as we dive into reading and explore literacy in new ways!
Students are so engaged and ready to make their learning come alive!

My Project
This project requests items to help us organize our classroom more efficiently while learning. Our tables need some help staying organized, and these "Help Yourself Supply Center" will encourage organization and give students a better place to store shared materials.
Students love to grab a book and read in my class.
It's important to think critically about your reading in fifth grade! That is why we use Think-Notes (aka Sticky-Note) to track our understanding. We use these think notes to write in class and reflect on our books!
With these sticky notes and our new table organizers! Students will feel more empowered to take action in their learning!
