My Students

Did you get a chance to enjoy music classes in school? I hope you had the same chance to experience music in school as I did growing up!

I have a wonderful group of 4 year old students in my class.

They amaze me every single day with their curiosity and eagerness to learn. Our school is a small school in a very rough area. Every day my students face obstacles like violence, gangs, poverty that no child should have to face.

My Project

I am requesting a cd listening center and music from around the world. Children should be exposed to different forms of music, from classical to hip-hop to music from all over the world. Let's expand their horizon because we never know if we have the next musical superstar in my class.

Music is an escape for many people.

I know that when I was in school, my music classes allowed me the opportunity to experience many wonderful moments. I hope to share my love of music with the children in my class.
