My Students

Although 8 and 1/2" by 11" construction paper is great! It really doesn't do the job when you are trying to cover a door for a door decorating contest or wanting to decorate a hall for Black History Night.

My students are kids with creative and imaginative minds who have not always had the materials they need at hands reach.

Our school is located among one of the largest inner city school districts in Missouri. The majority of our students are on government meal plans provided by the state and live in low income homes.

My Project

Research shows that learning with color improves engagement rate in the classroom. When the majority of the walls you see everyday for 7 hours a day are white or off white; it would be nice to have some color around the school. Being able to decorate our bulletin boards with something bright and colorful would improve in student learning. The bulletin board paper would allow for the students to decorate the doors for door decorating contests or decorate the halls for events like Black History Night.

Please make a difference in our school by allowing the creative minds to be creative with colorful bulletin board paper!
