My Students

Our school went "Green" and uses computers instead of textbooks and paper, but we need the software and hands-on science equipment that goes with them.

My students are excited to be in a brand new school that is based on science and technology.

The problem is that we don't have textbooks, and as a new school, the money ran out before software and supplemental materials could be purchased. My students love their computers, but they still need to "Get their hands" on some learning materials. Every teacher knows that the best instruction addresses every kind of learner. We need materials to teach visual learners, auditory learners, and hands-on learners alike.

My Project

"Green" teaching and learning is great, but it won't work without the right materials. These interactive software programs and science kits will keep each of the students engaged and excited about learning. They will help more than 100 students this year, and be used for years to come. Just think how much fun learning about fractions will be when students get to go to the screen and slice their virtual pizzas into fourths, sixths, and eighths.

Teaching without the right tools is difficult.

We have amazing computers, but without software, they are just pretty boxes. Please help us to make the most of this wonderful opportunity by getting us software and science kits.
