Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students these days need more hands-on and more activities that are not black and white in the text. Students are more technology advanced and need more work to stimulate their brains. This activity is one that tricks the brain and is very hard to figure out and would be perfect for my students.

My students are kids just like everybody else.

They want to have fun activities that are different and innovative. They are very smart and need a challenge and I like this activity for a challenge. The school they attend does the best it can for science equipment but after you split the budget between the four science teachers you can only get the essentials. The budget really doesn't allow you to get anything new and out of the ordinary.

My Project

My students are kids that are really wanting more than just worksheets and things out of the textbook. Labs are great but can be costly and most materials can't be used more than once. With these I can use them over and over without having to replace materials or costing any extra money.

This activity will stimulate minds and help students think outside of the box.

Hopefully this activity will engage their minds and help them see that not everything is as it seems.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
