My Students

Do you remember listening to your favorite music on the old phonograph in the music room? Out with the old and in with the new! The 21st century provides numerous technological advances that make learning music both fun and exciting! Tablets such as the iPad will enhance my student's learning.

Some of my students come from rural areas and do not have the opportunity to interact with modern high tech devices such as computers, iPods, and iPads.

For these students to succeed in this fast-paced world, they need to be technologically fluent with as many devices as possible. Our school has implemented as much technology as our resources dictate, but there are always more needs than dollars.

My Project

The students in my music classroom are always excited about using technology. The iPad offers students many possibilities including note and rhythm recognition, music listening lessons, and several other downloadable applications that are appropriate for the music classroom!

Technology offers an exciting way to engage a student's imagination.

Many students respond to high-tech devices with eagerness and enthusiasm. This exuberance can make the difference in a student becoming a successful and confident citizen!
