My students need seat sacks, backpacks, and school to home organizers to welcome them to school for the first time and to teach them about organization.

My Students

Do you remember that feeling that you got on your first day of school?

I teach students with severe emotional and behavioral disorders.

They come from a variety of backgrounds and have many things holding them back from achieving their potential. Many of them can not afford basic school supplies. They need help with basic organization and developing those skills that will help them for the rest of their life.

My Project

These supplies will help my students with learning basic organization and responsibility. They often get upset and will ruin things that they care about, and then are upset that they destroyed their things. These items would help teach needed life skills, and give them ownership.

I am asking for folders to use as communication between home and school.

These folders are built to last and will survive any attempt at destroying them. I am also requesting chair organizers to help my students learn this important skill. Lastly, I am asking for home to school backpacks to provide parents academic tools to work with their kids at home, along with teaching my students responsibility.
