My Students

A MAGICAL adventure awaits every reader when they step into my classroom. Will they be flying with Leonardo Da' Vinci or sliding on ice with the polar bears?

My AMAZING second grade students are each on their own mission when they come to second grade.

Each of them eager to learn something new and something that interests them. I provide them with a PASSPORT for reading. Wherever they choose to travel, only they will know! With the Magic Tree House series as our classroom theme, it is easy for each to travel to far away places to discover and learn whatever they like!

My Project

As we embark on each magical adventure, each of us will be whisked away with Jack and Annie in our own magic tree house reading loft. Some will travel to Greece and learn about the original Olympics, while another will travel to Egypt and learn about mummies. Whether a student is fascinated with dinosaurs, tornadoes, or Shakespeare, each is on a mission for learning. With each completed Magic Tree House book, they will receive a stamp in their PASSPORT demonstrating their newly acquired knowledge. Our space in our classroom is very limited with 26 of us sharing space with trees and a clubhouse. We would love to have a book storage rack that allows a perfect showcase of our favorite book series by Mary Pope Osborne. What better way to display, for viewing and quick selection, than a revolving literature consolidation book rack!
