Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Have you ever taken an exam that you felt unprepared for, even after hours of study? That is how my AP US Government students feel about the AP US Government Exam. Most of my students come from a disadvantaged background. Over 75% of the students at my school qualify for free or reduced lunches.

My students need every help possible to improve their chances to pass the AP US Government Exam.

The study guide will enable them to review and take practice exams to gauge their readiness for the exam. Review books are needed to give them every chance necessary to pass the test and improve their chances in college. My students have had limited success with the AP US Government Exam. Having one more tool for them to use would mean much to them and me. It will help focus their learning on government and politics. By passing the AP US Government and Politics Exam, my students have the chance to reduce the number of classes that they will have to take in college, and some of them might be inspired to take more Political Science courses in college, instead of skipping them.

My Project

My students will feel more confident about taking the AP US government and Politics exam with more opportunity for practice and study. The study guides will allow them to gain more confidence in themselves and their knowledge base through that practice and study. The practice exams will let them see where they are at in regards to the material, and they will be able to focus on the areas that they are weakest in.

My students need every opportunity possible to be successful in my class and college.

By taking the challenge of my AP course, they are proving their dedication as students. They need to have every possible tool available to improve their chances at passing the AP US Government and Politics exam.
