My Students

Do you remember the first time you experienced a typewriter or a computer? My students had not seen an overhead projector until this last week. I was surprised by how easily it captured their attention!

I have seventeen students, ten boys and seven girls, who are very creative but also very active!

It is challenging to engage them at all times. Our school is located in a rural area and our students rarely have the opportunity to experience modern technology.

My Project

I am requesting an Elmo Document Camera for our classroom. This piece of technology would enable us to conveniently view information directly from any book! Being a school in a rural area, we do not have funds readily available to purchase the necessary transparencies.

Donations to this project would make a difference in my students' lives.

They would be intrigued by the capability of the Elmo which would in turn cause them to be excited about learning!
